ABOUT THE GAME
Cabinet of Curiosities is a dungeon crawler set in a mysterious library full of strange artifacts. Defeat monsters and find upgrades to complete the level.
CUSTOM ENGINE
Our original brief for this project was to create a game in a custom engine. Along the way we ran into some pipeline issues between Programming and Design, so we decided to set up a parallel Unreal project. Though unfortunately, due to time constraints we were not able to get all the design work that was done in Unreal over to our custom engine. So, for a full gameplay experience, please download the Unreal build. Please also check out our custom engine build!

Install instructions
Itch.io App (Recommended):
Installing through the Itch.io App would allow you to update to new versions of the game directly from within the app with a single click.
Installing the Game
- Launch the Itch.io App.
- Select the game in your Itch.io App library.
- Press Install.
- Choose the version of the game you would like to install and then select a path to install to.
- Once installed, press Launch to play the game.
Installing Additional Versions of the Game
To install Unreal, Unreal (Beta) or Stellar engine versions of the game while having another version already installed, follow these steps:
- Launch the Itch.io App.
- Select the game in your Itch.io App library.
- Click the settings button next to Launch.
- Press Install.
- Choose the version of the game you would like to install and then select a path to install to.
- Once installed, pressing Launch should let you choose which version of the game you'd like to play from the ones currently installed.
Direct Download
Opting for direct downloads would require you to manually download new builds of the game every time there's an update in order to play the latest version.
- Download the zip file for the version you'd like to play.
- Extract the zip file.
- [Unreal] Run CabinetOfCuriosities.exe to play the Unreal Engine version the game.
- [Stellar] Run Dungeon Crawler.exe to play the Stellar Engine version of the game.

Nice game. The dash movement seems a little splitted maybe the end of the animation could be better. I also found a bug: when using the laser, if you hit a pilar, the laser stays short even when aiming away.
This game is truly amazing, so fun and enjoyable!!!
