Hey everyone!

We’re happy to share our first major update to ‘Bardo’, fixing many of the issues you were experiencing, as well as filling up a bunch of the previously empty sections of our level.

Major changes:

• The boss fight has received a major visual update, including a work in progress introduction cutscene.
• Our level has been restructured to have a smoother difficulty curve.
• Some sections of the level now contain hazards that send you back to a checkpoint if you crash into them.
• Various sections of the level now have improved lighting. This is still in development, so expect this to improve more in future updates.
• Essence no longer automatically drains to refill your health.
• Respawning essence wisps were added and placed near puzzles to prevent players from getting stuck without essence to shoot crystals with.
• Essence wisps & Enemy projectiles now have a new look.
• Changes have been made to improve performance on high graphics settings, more improvements will be made in future updates.
• Gliding animations have been tweaked and adjustments have been made to the camera to emphasize freedom of movement.
