A Textured Angel's Thesis


I. Hallowed Be Thy Serialization

Serialization has been implemented in the game and we can save and load entities without changing the code. This comes also with some extra engine perks such as a search bar for the entities, saving graphics settings and filtering entities by components. 

II. Model Loading 18 

The model loading pipeline and Houdini level editor have been reworked again and they now support collisions and other components to be spawned together with geometry.

III. A Textured Angel's Thesis

A new character has been designed, modelled, textured and implemented into the engine, together with some prototype animations.

IV. Master of Graphics

Together with a rework of the low level systems, bloom and alpha blending have been added to the renderer, with support for both PC and PS5. A monochromatic shader and outline shader have also been added and are now waiting to be implemented into the gameplay.

V. Effects, Bloody Effects

Visual Effects prototypes have been created and they're being implemented in the build. The FMOD Studio project has been set up and populated with some prototype sounds, which are also being implemented.

VI. Anarchy in the U.I.

UI systems for health bars are properly working in a side branch and waiting to be implemented into Main.
