Third Build - Feature Merge
Build 3 Devlog: Features Merged
In this build of our game all the features have finally been merged into one character that every gym level makes use of.
Although not every gym level tests all these features at once yet.
What you can expect from this build is:
= Three different gym levels all with their own unique challenges:
- The Booster gym level has 7 different short challenges that have both an easy and a hard version. The hard versions are to test what the player would see as the limits of the mechanic.
- The platforms with different surfaces gym level has a set of challenges that focus on trying to see what possibile combinations can be done with the different platforms.
- The Wall jump gym level has 4 challenges that make use of all three features and tries to experiment with how to use these features in combination with eachother.
= Each gym level has it's own camera settings and character feel.
= The menu now has an exit button so players can leave the game.
Known bugs:
= Using the booster while wall sliding can sometimes lead to unexpected movement and the player getting stuck to the wall.
= Touching the hazards at specific angles can make the player get extreme knockback upwards.
