ZIMA
A downloadable game for Windows
Story
Zima is a boss-rush adventure where you play as a cowboy windsurfing across a frozen desert to save giant corrupted creatures with their trust lasso.
Latest Update
- ZIMA V1.0!
With this update, we are officially releasing Version 1.0 of the game.
Over the past eight weeks we've transformed the project from a prototype into a complete playable experience featuring smooth traversal, creature encounter, onboarding, audio, visual effects, and a full gameplay loop.
That said, we don't consider the game "finished" in the sense that it fully realizes our vision. There are still aspects of the creature encounter, combat flow, cohesion of mechanics, and overall pacing that we believe can be improved significantly.
As our team now shifts focus toward completing the academic year, development will temporarily slow down. However, we fully intend to revisit the project afterward and continue improving the experience.
When development resumes, our primary focus will be:
- Improving encounter design and pacing.
- Creating stronger connections between mechanics.
- Increasing combat readability and feedback.
- Refining the overall player experience from start to finish.
Thank you to everyone who played, tested, and provided feedback throughout development. Your feedback has been invaluable in helping shape the game into what it is today, and we hope you'll join us again when development continues.

The environment looks amazing!!
And the creature is beautifullll.
The attacks look and feel very cool too.
Its sometimes a bit frustrating to get hit by the smash attack or stuck on terrain.
But it feels very cool to cure the creature and to surf and lasso around especially when picking up speed
cool ending menu, nice boss creature.
why character no main texture?
This game makes me want to surf on that boat for eternity, just taking in the views and enjoying the exploration of it. Shame I couldn't figure out how to save the poor beast from those nails it had. It definitely seemed like in a lot of pain.
looks amazing ⭐
