A downloadable game for Windows

About The Game

Drivinity is a fast-paced anti-gravity racing game where Egyptian Gods collide in an epic race to decide once and for all who is superior.

Players can choose between two different Gods to race in a futuristic Egyptian city where technology has mixed with ancient Egypt.

Drive on two different tracks: Giza & Abydos.

Use boost-pads and tricks to keep your boost-bar full and defeat your opponents.

About The Project

We are a student team from the Breda University, NHTV, The Netherlands.

Our game started with the programmers developing a multi-platform (PlayStation 4 and Windows) custom Engine, called Lux Engine, tailored for anti-gravity racing games in the third Block of 2018 (8 weeks).

In combination with the Lux Engine, we make use of Unity as scene editor, and a custom tool  to create procedural tracks. This tool was made in Houdini by our technical artist.

We started developing Drivinity in the last block (8 weeks) of our second year with a team of designers, artists & programmers (21 members in total).

We are proud to announce we are ready to release our game Drivinity!

Hope you guys keep working on this it was really fun

Really good racing game, remind me the project SSGX

The game does not start. Here is the debug output log:

Initializing Lux Engine
Initializing Subsystems
Failed to initialize Memory system
[ERROR]: Couldn't create the Adapter Output.
Failed to initialize Graphics system
Failed to initialize subsystems

I'm running on Windows 10  1803 (Build 17134.407)

CPU

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHz

Base speed: 2.81 GHz
Sockets: 1
Cores: 2
Logical processors: 4

GPU 1

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M

Driver version: 23.21.13.9140
Driver date: 04/04/2018
DirectX version: 12 (FL 12.1)

I hope this helps.

After trying the 1.0.3 patch I have to say this game is incredibly fun for its level of complexity. I've never played Wipeout, so these mechanics seem novel to be, but I love the tight control you get on the speed of the vehicle. It makes turns and overtakes very satisfying.

However, there isn't much to do on the track. Since this game isn't a racing simulator, I think you need to add more interactive track elements akin to other kart games. I also found the colors to be a bit too jarring and the music not fitting the speed of the game. You would probably do better with Egyptian themed trance or synthwave.

Overall great game! Definitely worth a download.

I'd like to invite you to take part in our contest, the Game Development World Championship! This game is really great work all the way through. The ship designs, the gameplay and especially the unique environments are all really good. The floaty physics are very close to the older Wipeouts, which is nice I guess.

Played a bit of this on my channel! Starts at about 2:20 in this video. :)

Thanks for playing our game! Very cool to see someone making a video out of it.

Seems like I'm getting a crash on launch. White window pops up and disappears, then nothing.

Hi CoalFire,

thank you for your crash report, we will do our best to find a solution to this issue. Could you specify the system you are trying to run the game on?

Team Godspeed

Insane game! Hopefully you guys can bring it to steam! Oh and by the way, maybe add something that you can see other players their score, so you can make it a real race! hehe xoxo
