Daily update 15/6


For this dev update, we achieved a better quality of life while playing the game!

Changelog:

  • Collectables reset correctly  if you die inside their hitbox
  • Ball now curls in the air when trying to roll
  • Camera lag is disabled until after you're respawned
  • You are now able to jump going out of rolling mode
  • Pango mesh rotation is now interpolating instead of instantly snapping
  • We added an ending to the conclusion level
  • Added a new ground pound visualisation in the tutorial
  • Respawn VFX are fixed and should show up correctly again
  • Added some new sound effects
  • Checkpoints spawn point rotation is fixed and now looks towards the next part of the track you're supposed to go
  • Pango spawn in idle mode
  • The boost pad gives you a boost even if you stop rolling
  • Footstep sounds changed to be more in tune with the game
  • Breadcrumb can now be picked up correctly when you switch states inside its hitbox
  • Added some more set dressing to the levels

Known bugs:

  • After resuming from the pause menu it takes multiple presses before actually reopening the pause menu
  • Bounce pad doesn't understand ground pound cancel
  • When the player dies without getting any checkpoint it will spawn at the latest placed checkpoint
  • The player's movement continues after dying
  • The player leaves a shadow trace
  • Controller support on the menu might not always take the correct input
